On Monday morning, multiple gunshots were fired at a residence on Allison Ann Way, near Queen Filomena Avenue, around 8:30 a.m. The house, now under new ownership, was occupied at the time, but thankfully, no one was injured. This marks the fourth shooting incident in just a few months, with the last one occurring about two months prior. The suspect, a male, fled the scene in a dark-colored SUV, last seen heading east on Queen Filomena Avenue. The local mayor, Steven Del Duca, expressed frustration over the repeated violence, empathizing with the residents' fears and concerns. He assured the community that the city is working closely with the York Regional Police to address the issue. While the investigation continues, the authorities have not disclosed any potential suspects, leaving the community in a state of uncertainty and anxiety.
